3 reasons why having children in today’s society isn’t worth it
Well… I know we all are seeing the childless movement starting to pick up traction all around the world. No matter how you feel about the Roe vs Wade being overturned. Part of the fear around the world is that we will become extinct. Analysts across the world have said we are in danger on not having enough people to fill future jobs. This seems valid, on some level, because the baby boomer generation is dying off everyday. If more folks are dying than being born, This creates a problem with any species ending up extinct. To date, The baby boomer generation is the largest generation we have. I hear so many people say they don’t want or need to have kids. Let’s go over 3 reasons why kids are not even worth it.
1)Kids of today are only takers
Our parents and grandparents were givers and contributors to the overall family. In fact, Having multiple children was done specifically to have someone to guarantee a caregiver in old age. They were told to take care of their parents and grandparents no matter what. I tell anyone over 65 to have a backup plan because it’s not a guarantee your kids will take care of you in old age, like you did with your parents. Sad but true…
